Mother's Day is the special day we set aside to honor mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society. There are many different ways to define a mother. Here are some thoughts that come to mind when I think of my mom. 

M - maternal, matriarch, meticulous

O - optimistic, sometimes opinionated, outspoken

T - teaches by example, true to her word, trustworthy and thoughtful

H - honorable, honest, headstrong

E - earnest, encouraging and eager to see me succeed

R - responsible, realistic and reliable
