Quorum team members were proud to join the thousands of people who walked on April 2nd in support of The American Heart Association's (AHA) National Walking Day.
This event is aimed at encouraging people to go on a brisk walk to support the fight against heart disease. According to the AHA, one in three people is at risk for heart disease, but that risk can be greatly reduced by simply walking everyday.
Benefits of regular walking include burning off body fat, increasing bone density, improving blood circulation, and reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, colon cancer and premature death.
KUDOS to team Quorum for tracking a combined total of 16 3/4 miles. Now that's walking proud!
